MRO Buyer
LOCATIONS: N.Y. (2 locations), Pa., N.J., Mo.
Buyer is responsible to find and purchase all items needed by the customer; expedite emergency purchases as defined. Use the Company's system (and/or client system if required by client) to document control of purchasing functions. Reporting to Site Managers, Buyers perform as part of a team providing secondary purchasing support to other client locations. Buyers would also be responsible for ensuring that materials are accurately received in the system and that orders are processed and expedited in a timely and efficient manner.
Stockroom Attendant
LOCATIONS: N.Y. (3 locations), Fla., Neb., Pa., Ohio, Ark.
Storeroom Attendant serves as on-site labor in the logistics area of the storeroom; including receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory accuracy, client interface and computer transaction entry. This position is to receive, stock, issue, and locate inventory utilizing either the Company's or the customer's computer system. Storeroom Attendant will follow all site safety and security requirements to ensure a safe work environment.
Site Manager
LOCATIONS: N.Y. (2 locations), Mo.
Site Managers undertake overall responsibility for daily operations of the MRO material storeroom. Site Managers must actively manage MRO logistics from monitoring inventory levels, purchasing and receiving material, through parts storage and distribution. Successful Site Managers must develop and maintain customer relationships and keep an open line of communication to all of the Company’s stakeholders.
Purchasing Specialist
LOCATION: Greater Philadelphia Area
The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for processing client requisitions, soliciting price or delivery information, ensuring appropriate approvals are received, issuing Purchase Orders to suppliers, expediting delivery and working with Accounting to resolve any invoice discrepancies.
Director of Process Improvement
LOCATION: Greater Philadelphia Area
The Director, Process & Business Improvement is responsible for identifying, recommending, prioritizing, and managing the evaluation of processes and for leading implementations of process and system enhancements for SSI.
Commodity Category Manager
LOCATION: Greater Philadelphia Area
A Category Manager is responsible for researching and identifying suppliers for assigned materials across the SSI network of customers, working closely with Site Operations staff and customers to develop supply sourcing strategies that reduce cost, ensuring continuity of supply, and meet customer's quality requirements. It has responsibility for leading SSI's supplier management efforts, report project activities on a monthly basis and ensures compliance with SSI's purchasing policies and procedures, ethical practices, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations. Category Managers require deep MRO Materials sourcing and supplier management experience to support our business growth. Category Managers require expertise in one or more of the following MRO sub-categories: Power Train, Pipes Valves & Fittings (PVF) and Cutting Tools.
Integration Specialist
LOCATION: Greater Philadelphia Area
Integration Specialist is the primary liaison between implementation team, client and corporate office in supporting system integration of new sites. Interacts with various levels of personnel including General Managers, Site Managers and client. Creates project management plan to help manage and support implementation process through completion.
